of Michigan: The Michigan Marching Band

Michigan
State University: Spartan Marching Band
Our relationship with the Spartan Marching Band is unique, as they are the only
band with whom we have shared the field in our 157 year history. The date was
September 22, 2001, and we performed "Amazing Grace" together at the
end of half-time in our first game after the tragedies of September 11, 2001
in New York, Washington D.C., and Shanksville, PA. That performance forever
changed the lives of all who participated in it.
